has been a source of innovation in child maltreatment prevention research since joining IPRC in 2008. He is the current Maternal and Child Health Services Director for the Department of Family Medicine at UNC, a graduate of both the UNC School of Medicine and the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, and currently serves as the vice president of the North Carolina Institute of Medicine. Dr. Zolotor has contributed to the LONGSCAN project, the statewide NC Evaluation of the Period of Purple Crying, and the innovative SmartMom project.
