Scott Proescholdbell is an epidemiologist who has extensive expertise in the area of injury surveillance. He heads the Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit in the NC Injury and Violence Prevention Branch. He also is the Principal Investigator for North Carolina’s Violent Death Reporting System, which provides surveillance of homicides and suicides
