Sexual violence prevention efforts have long focused on addressing potential perpetrators and victims and changing their attitudes, beliefs and behaviors. Increasingly experts in the field are promoting the idea of bystander intervention, in which witnesses to an interaction that appears likely to lead to an abusive interaction have the skills and confidence to step in and change the outcomes. One Act is a training curriculum designed by the Interpersonal Violence Prevention Coordinator for UNC Chapel Hill and UNC students. One Act includes a campus-wide social marketing campaign and training for student leaders. This study is examining program development and evaluation.
