New resource available from CDC on adapting evidence-based violence prevention programs

Practitioners implementing evidence-based programs in the field often have to balance delivering approaches as intended with the reality of their local contexts. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Violence Prevention has developed guidance to support violence prevention practitioners in selecting, adapting, and evaluating evidence-based programs.

The new interactive online tool, “Select, Adapt, Evaluate: How to Use Essential Elements to Inform Your Violence Prevention Approaches” is now available. They have also provided a downloadable PDF version of the resource.
