Congratulations to David Colston, Laurel Sharpless, and Brooke Jones, who have been awarded prestigious 2024 summer internships with the CDC’s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC). The internships will last for 8-12 weeks beginning in the mid-May to mid-June timeframe and will end on August 31. Our three students were selected based on the caliber of their current research and two of our awardees have accepted the offer. Our 2024 NCIPC internship awardees and their research projects are:
