Illyana Massey, MSW, LCSWA, CHES

Community Liaison

Illyana joined UNC IPRC in 2023 as the community liaison for the Opioid Data Lab team. In her role she assists with the operations of the UNC Street Drug Analysis Lab working with local and national partners. Illyana earned her master’s degree from the UNC School of Social work and has a background in public health. She has years of experience working in community health, outreach, health education, and as a licensed mental health clinician in inpatient and outpatient settings.
