Comprehensive Suicide Prevention Project Manager
Megan joined UNC IPRC as the Comprehensive Suicide Prevention Project Manager in 2021. In this role, Megan works closely with the North Carolina Comprehensive Suicide Prevention team to increase knowledge of effective suicide prevention strategies and skills among injury and violence prevention professionals across North Carolina. Megan has experience working with a variety of populations including service members and veterans, K-12 schools, colleges and universities, injury and violence prevention professionals, and clergy. She is experienced in crisis intervention, planning and delivering training programs, creating and disseminating suicide prevention messaging, and providing technical assistance for individuals and groups engaged in suicide prevention. Megan is currently a Master of Public Health candidate at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
