In this conversation, students from StOMP will offer a pharmacist point-of-view about the opioid crisis. They will also elaborate on who they are and detail community harm reduction strategies, such as syringe sales and medication safety initiatives.

StOMP was created in 2018 at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Their mission is to better prepare healthcare students to understand the multifaceted complexities that contribute to the opioid crisis in order to address the issue head-on. Through educational initiatives and collaboration with local programs, StOMP has allowed healthcare students to take charge and make a difference in their community.
