Join us to hear a presentation on child maltreatment and opioid use. Anna will be presenting her analyses of data from the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent to Adult Health (Add Health) regarding the association of childhood abuse and neglect with prescription opioid use and misuse in early adulthood and adolescent mediators of these associations.
She will also present her analysis of Add Health data looking at prescription opioid use among young parents and plans for an evaluation of North Carolina’s Infant Plan of Safe Care, a state-level program designed to address the needs of substance-exposed infants and their caregivers.
Anna is a fourth-year doctoral candidate in maternal and child health, minoring in epidemiology and a graduate research assistant at the UNC Injury Prevention Research Center. Learn more about Anna and her work: https://unc.live/2K27QG8
