IPRC Webinar Series
2024-2025 Webinar Series
This webinar series seeks to connect researchers, practitioners, students and others interested in injury and violence prevention (IVP), by providing a platform to share innovative and impactful research and initiatives in this field. The intention is for these presentations and discussions to foster more peer-to-peer learning and collaboration opportunities that will benefit IVP work in NC and across the country. This series is one of several education and engagement offerings from UNC IPRC.
IPRC webinars are structured in a way to succinctly highlight key takeaways and provide an opportunity for discussion with the presenter and other potential subject matter experts that are present.
Webinars take place on the second Wednesday of each month from 12pm – 12:30pm. Each month features a new speaker presenting on a different IVP topic. Recordings of past webinars are available on the UNC IPRC YouTube Channel . The next round of this series will run October 2024 – May 2025. The schedule is listed below and will be updated as speakers are confirmed. Registration is required for each webinar, and the webinar flyers and registration links are typically available here 2 – 3 weeks before each webinar and are sent out through various email listservs.
If you have any questions, would like to be added to our webinar listserv, or would like to suggest a potential speaker or topic area for an upcoming webinar, please email Carol Shirley at carol.shirley@unc.edu.
